SMS Backup & Restore does not send your personal data — including your messages, phone numbers, or call logs — to SyncTech or any third-party servers. All backups are stored locally on your device as XML files, and SyncTech never receives or holds copies of them, so there is nothing for us to delete on our end.
If you’ve configured the app to upload backups to a cloud service such as Google Drive or Dropbox, those files are stored solely in your own account and are only accessible to you. You can delete them at any time from within the app (via the Delete Backups screen) or directly from your cloud account.
Similarly, the backup viewer on our website (https://synctech.com.au/view-backup/) processes your backup file entirely within your browser — the contents are never uploaded to our servers.
